Introduction:
      The group is led by Prof. Dr. Lihua ZHANG. Since its foundation in 1999, this group has been undergoing rapid development. Now it consists of 26 scientists (including Prof. Yukui ZHANG, Prof. Weibing ZHANG, associate Prof. Dr. Cao YAN, associate Prof. Yang TIAN and Maolan XU, a technician Ms. Xiaodan ZHANG, guest scientists Prof. Prof. Lee CHAO, Prof. Yushu HUO, Prof. Bingqian SHEN, Prof. Jiuyang ZHAO, Prof. Liming WANG ) and 14 graduate students engaging in the development of high efficient separation and high sensitive detection methods for biomolecule, including high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), capillary electrophoresis (CE), microfluidic chips and their hyphenation with mass spectrometry (MS). In addition, projects on genetic engineering and Chinese traditional medicine have also been undertaken. Up till now, over 100 papers and four books have been published, and more than 10 patents have been applied or entitled.

Research Interests:
      1. High efficient separation and high sensitive detection methods for the analysis of complex samples.
      2. Gene expression, cell incubation, separation and purification of human kallikrein.
      3. Development of HPLC instrument
