Prof. Francois Fajula of Institute for Molecular and Materials Chemistry of Montpellier, France, was invited to visit DICP from 20th to 24th, September. During his visit, he was invited to deliver a memorial lecture for celebrating the 60th Anniversary of DICP with the topic of "Achievements and challenges in the preparation and application of materials with hierarchical porosity". The lecturing session was chaired by Prof. LI Can, Vice-Director of DICP. After the lecture, Prof. ZHANG Tao, Director of DICP, presented an Honorary Lecture Certificate for the Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of DICP to Prof. Fajula.
During his stay in DICP, Prof. Fajula toured some of the DICP laboratories, namely, the Space Catalysis & New Materials Laboratory, the State Key Laboratory of Catalysis, the Applied Catalysis Laboratory, the National Methanol to Olefins Engineering Laboratory, the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Dynamics, the Fuel Cell Laboratory, the Fine Chemicals Laboratory, the Modern Chemical Engineering Laboratory and the Bio-Tech Division, and conducted academic exchanges with the DICP researchers. He also presented another lecture with the title of "Mesostructured Porous Silicas and their Application in Drug Delivery and Biocatalysis" |
